健康資訊不健康

《張家界鳳凰仲夏自遊行全紀錄》仍在趕稿中,但同時也嘗試去追看新聞,相比港人爭做世衞總幹事,同樣也和健康有關,就是時下那些騎馬機、震震機、纖腰帶、水療瑜伽等資訊,姑莫論其真偽,但手法上涉及的學術字眼及篇幅之多,倒是針對很多感覺至上不愛思辯的消費者的心理。

雖然我較相信自己作為運動科學副修生及理科生的學科知識,但作為一位前科學教師(因得皆來年只會任教數學科),考慮到會有學生問及對這類產品的科學性,我也先向身邊的好友問問,其中Seto提到:

H2O somehow have its configuration that really can affect its penetration effect but the main point is that it’s not for human to absorb it. In some situation, like higher temperature, higher pressure, or after certain treatment, the permeability of H2O is better, (but should be careful that the permeability means permeable through some kind of material like paper or some metal-like substance. btw, the treatment seems not to use PURE water, so one may also think that those "treatment" is to filter the dirty water rather than making the H2O molecules smaller. For the claim that H2O molecules can be smaller, they are wrong. BUT if after treatment, the claim that H2O can be absorbed more easily maybe true (but commercial like mixing up some right and wrong pts together do distract people)
當然,就大家所關注,產品建基的論據方面,他補充:
As we did not have any scientific evidence to proof this is wrong or right, this statement can be true like: by direct heating, H2O can be absorbed more easily; by ultra filtration, H2O can be absorbed more easily, if the people is healthier, H2O can be absorbed more easily; if using DIMOND ultra filtration system, H2O can be absorbed more easily....something like that (we can’t proof it right or wrong, because it is a dilemma that we cannot measure "absorption" ability!) But the point is in order to clarify the idea clearly... it takes time to discuss and read... (HK people always don't want to think much, so I think that's the point they usually miss something they can easily tell the wrong idea out)
同時,拜讀刁民的文章,關於能量水公司對消委會對食水處理器的測試報告中的回應,他們的偽邏輯及傳銷手法,比起該產品本身更引起我關注。恐怕,我們損失的,不只是消費者的金錢,更會是傳媒的公信力,以及我們對資訊的批判。
